I have been conducting tours globally since 2006 and a Tour Director with Globus since 2018, bringing Great Britain and Ireland vividly to life through a deep passion for storytelling that blends scholarship and warmth, connecting the ancient and the modern. Also, since 2008 I tour around the world with an international collective of musicians, playing folk music from Ireland to the Balkans.

Born in the shadow of Hadrian’s Wall on the Scottish Borders, raised in the Cotswolds, I studied history and music in London, laying the foundations for a distinctive, story-led, and most importantly fun approach to guiding.
